Adds "flood" loss models to the existing exemption for trade secrets used in designing hurricane loss models held by the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology, the Office of Insurance Regulation, and appointed consumer advocates.

Makes trade secrets in flood loss models confidential and exempt from public records and public meetings requirements under the Florida Constitution.

Requires closed meetings discussing flood loss model trade secrets to be recorded with no portions off the record, and exempts those recordings from public records disclosure.

Changes the sunset review date for the exemption from October 2, 2015 to October 2, 2019 under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Takes effect only if SB 542 or similar legislation is adopted in the same legislative session and becomes law.
