Amends Florida Statutes section 381.00655 to add a new provision regarding onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems.

Specifies that an existing onsite sewage treatment and disposal system, including the drainfield, is not considered abandoned if the Department of Environmental Protection approves its use as part of a sanitary sewer system.

Allows all or a portion of an existing onsite sewage system to be integrated into a central sewerage system without triggering abandonment status.

Becomes effective July 1, 2014.
