Requires hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and mobile surgical facilities to inform applicants in writing of decisions to deny staff membership or clinical privileges without waiting for a written request.

Removes the 30-day timeframe requirement for providing denial reasons, making the notification requirement immediate upon denial.

Mandates that denials of staff membership or clinical privileges be submitted in writing to the applicant's respective licensing board.

Applies to applicants specified in subsections (1) and (2) of section 395.0191, Florida Statutes.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
