Requires individuals to register as interns before commencing postgraduate experience or practicum requirements in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling.

Establishes that intern registrations are valid for 5 years from the date of issue, with registrations issued on or before March 31, 2015 expiring March 31, 2020 and cannot be renewed or reissued.

Prohibits individuals who have held a provisional license from applying for intern registration in the same profession.

Requires a licensed mental health professional to be on the premises when clinical services are provided by a registered intern in a private practice setting and prohibits registered interns from engaging in independent private practice.

Specifies that individuals must remain under supervision while practicing under registered intern status and that time spent satisfying experience requirements before registering as an intern does not count toward licensure requirements.
