Exempts oncologists and hematologists prescribing controlled substances for pain associated with progressive sickle cell disease from standard pain management prescribing requirements.

Removes the cap limiting physicians to supervising no more than four physician assistants at one time.

Allows physician assistants to perform any practice-related activities delegated by supervising physicians unless expressly prohibited by law or rules.

Requires physician assistants with prescriptive privileges to certify completion of 10 continuing medical education hours in their specialty at license renewal rather than filing a signed affidavit.

Eliminates the requirement that physician assistant license applicants provide two letters of recommendation.
