Creates exemption from public records requirements for sworn complaints and investigation records filed with the Florida Elections Commission regarding violations of section 105.071 (limitations on political activity by candidates for judicial office).

Makes exempt from public meetings requirements any portion of Florida Elections Commission proceedings in which violations of section 105.071 are discussed or acted upon following a complaint or investigation.

Allows confidentiality exemptions to be waived in writing by the person against whom the complaint was filed or investigation initiated, or upon a determination of probable cause or no probable cause by the commission.

Subjects the exemptions to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and establishes automatic repeal on October 2, 2019, unless the Legislature reenacts the exemptions.

Establishes effective date contingent upon the enactment of related legislation in the same legislative session.
