Recognizes the Edgewater High School 2014 girls basketball team for winning the State 6A Championship on February 22, 2014, defeating Pine Forest High School 53-34 in Pensacola.

Team finished the season with 26 wins and 7 losses, ranked 18th nationally in preseason and 1st in the state, while winning their district and region.

Championship marked the 4th title in the school's 61-year history and 4th championship in the last seven seasons, with 3 consecutive state titles won by the program.

Team finished 4th in the DICK'S Sporting Goods High School National Tournament in New York City.

Applauds the athletic ability, sportsmanship, and citizenship of the 11-player roster under the leadership of Coaches Malcolm Lewis, Natalie Ford, Greg Ferrell, Brittany Waters, Principal Michele Erickson, and Athletic Director Valerie Miyares.
