School districts are prohibited from administering district-mandated assessments, district-developed assessments, or district-selected assessments within 2 weeks before through 2 weeks after the district's scheduled administration of statewide standardized assessments.

The restriction applies to the period surrounding any statewide standardized assessment, including statewide standardized end-of-course assessments.

The bill takes effect July 1, 2014.
