Creates a $1,000 corporate income tax credit for hiring persons previously convicted of a felony in Florida who have been released from confinement and remain employed for at least 1 year, effective for taxable years beginning January 1, 2016.

Limits the credit to one claim per new employee hired.

Excludes persons classified as violent career criminals, habitual felony offenders, habitual violent felony offenders, or three-time violent felony offenders under Florida Statute 775.084.

Excludes persons required to register as sexual predators under Florida Statute 775.21 or as sexual offenders under Florida Statute 943.0435.

Takes effect January 1, 2016.
