Creates public records exemption for home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and photographs of current or former impaired practitioner consultants retained by state agencies and their employees whose duties involve determining whether licensed professionals can safely practice

Exempts names, home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and places of employment of spouses and children of such consultants or employees, plus names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by their children

Exemption applies only if the consultant or employee has made reasonable efforts to protect such information from being accessible through other public means

Exemption subject to Open Government Sunset Review Act and repeals October 2, 2020 unless legislatively renewed

Takes effect upon becoming law; includes legislative findings that disclosure could endanger consultants, employees, and their families from hostile reactions by practitioners subject to impairment determinations
