Exempts identification and location information of servicemembers and their spouses/dependents from public records disclosure under Florida law, including home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, places of employment, and school/day care locations

Defines "servicemember" as current or former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, reserve components, or National Guard who served after September 11, 2001

Requires servicemembers to submit a written request to the agency holding their information and a statement that they have made reasonable efforts to protect the information through other means

Exemption applies retroactively to information held by agencies before, on, or after the effective date of the law

Subject to automatic repeal on October 2, 2020 under the Open Government Sunset Review Act unless reenacted by the Legislature
