Property appraiser budgets become final and binding on county commissions once the Department of Revenue makes its final budget amendments by August 15 each year

County commissions must fund the Department of Revenue-approved final budget during any appeal to the Administration Commission, regardless of whether an appeal is filed

The Administration Commission may still amend budgets if it finds any aspect unreasonable based on the property appraiser's workload, and may hear appeals filed within 15 days of the department hearing

Property appraisers cannot transfer funds between accounts after final budget approval without written department permission
