Creates section 1004.097 establishing public records and public meetings exemptions for identifying information of applicants for president or provost positions at state universities and Florida College System institutions.

Exempts any portion of meetings held to identify, vet, or disclose identifying information of such applicants from public meeting requirements, but requires reasonable notice and complete recording of closed portions.

Requires meetings establishing job qualifications or compensation frameworks for potential applicants remain open to the public and subject to public meeting requirements.

Makes identifying information of final applicants no longer exempt from public records and public meetings requirements 30 days before the final action or vote on employment.

Exemption subject to sunset review and automatically repeals October 2, 2020 unless reenacted by the legislature; effective date October 1, 2015.
