Prevents salary decreases for clerks of circuit court, county comptrollers, sheriffs, supervisors of elections, property appraisers, tax collectors, and district school superintendents when a county moves into a new population group due to population increase.

Requires that once an officer's position moves to a new population group, future salary adjustments must follow the pay rates applicable to that new population group.

Amends sections 145.051, 145.071, 145.09, 145.10, 145.11, and 1001.47 of Florida Statutes by adding new subsections establishing these salary protection provisions.

Updates section 1001.50 to correct cross-references from subsection (6) to subsection (5) regarding district school superintendent professional education programs.

Effective date: July 1, 2015.
