Amends section 760.02 of the Florida Statutes to include unpaid interns within the definition of "employee" under the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992.

Defines an unpaid intern as a person who performs work when the employer is not committed to hiring them at the conclusion of their tenure and both parties agree the intern will not receive wages.

Requires that intern work must supplement educational training, provide experience for the intern's benefit, not displace regular employees, occur under close supervision, and provide no immediate advantage to the employer.

Effective date: July 1, 2015.
