Reduces the time requirement before a physical therapist must obtain practitioner-of-record review for treatment from 30 days to 21 days for conditions not previously assessed by a practitioner of record.

Allows licensed physical therapists who hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) degree to use the letters "D.P.T." in connection with their name or place of business.

Prohibits physical therapists with a doctoral degree from using the title "doctor" without clearly informing the public of their profession as a physical therapist.

Makes it unlawful for unlicensed persons to use the letters "D.P.T." unless they hold both a valid physical therapy license and a doctoral degree in physical therapy.

Establishes that violations of physical therapist licensing restrictions constitute violations of the prohibited acts statute with applicable criminal penalties.
