Adds officers authorized under s. 117.10 as an alternative method for administering oaths or affirmations to verify documents, alongside notaries public under s. 92.50.

Defines "reliable electronic means" as signing and transmission of documents compliant with criminal justice information system security measures, submitted by the affiant to an authorized officer.

Authorizes law enforcement officers, correctional officers, correctional probation officers, traffic accident investigation officers, and traffic infraction enforcement officers to administer oaths by reliable electronic means or in person when performing official duties.

Exempts oaths administered by these officers from requirements in sections 117.01, 117.04, 117.045, 117.05, and 117.103, and prohibits officers from notarizing their own signatures.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
