Creates section 190.0121 of Florida Statutes to exempt surveillance recordings held by community development districts from public records disclosure requirements under Florida Statutes section 119.07(1) and Florida Constitution Article I, section 24(a).

Allows community development districts to disclose surveillance recordings only to law enforcement agencies in furtherance of their official duties or pursuant to court order.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act, requiring legislative review and reenactment; the exemption automatically repeals on October 2, 2020 unless the Legislature votes to preserve it.

Establishes as public necessity that the exemption protects district security and resident privacy by preventing disclosure of surveillance system coverage and technical aspects that could enable individuals to evade detection.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
