Amends s. 379.249, F.S. to exempt location information of artificial reefs funded with private contributions from public records requirements under s. 119.07(1) and Article I, s. 24(a) of the State Constitution.

Information identifying artificial reef locations in site files or records maintained by state agencies is protected from disclosure.

The exemption is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals on October 2, 2020, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Legislature finds that disclosing privately-funded artificial reef locations would discourage private participation in reef-building partnership programs with coastal local governments.

Takes effect upon becoming a law.
