Creates s. 627.748, F.S., establishing insurance requirements for transportation network companies and participating drivers in Florida.

Requires $1 million liability coverage, $1 million uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, and personal injury protection from the moment a driver accepts a ride request until the ride is complete.

Requires lower coverage limits ($125,000 per person/$250,000 per incident for bodily injury, $50,000 for property damage, $250,000 uninsured/underinsured motorist) when driver is logged on but has not yet accepted a ride or after completing a ride until logging off.

Prohibits personal motor vehicle insurance policies from being required to provide coverage or defend drivers during transportation network company activities unless the policy expressly includes such coverage with a separately stated premium.

Requires transportation network companies to disclose insurance coverage in writing to drivers and to cooperate with other insurers during claims investigations by sharing accident dates, times, and driver log-on/log-off times; effective July 1, 2015.
