Amends Florida Statutes section 324.242 to create a public records exemption for personal identifying information and insurance policy numbers held by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles regarding bodily injury liability insurance policies

Allows the department to release policy numbers upon written request and copy of a crash report to: any person involved in the accident, their attorney, or the insurer's representative

Exemption applies retroactively to personal identifying information and policy numbers held by the department before, on, or after October 11, 2007

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and schedules automatic repeal on October 2, 2020, unless the Legislature reenacts it

Takes effect contingent upon HB 803 or similar legislation being adopted in the same legislative session and becoming law
