CS/HB 985 - Maintenance of Agency Final Orders

• Requires agencies to electronically transmit certified text-searchable copies of final orders rendered on or after July 1, 2015, to a centralized electronic database maintained by the Division of Administrative Hearings.

• Centralizes database searchable by agency name, issuance date, order type, subject matter, and text terms contained in orders.

• Mandates agencies to electronically transmit or list final orders within 90 days of issuance, with orders including complete text of incorporated materials or statements showing where materials can be inspected.

• Designates the centralized electronic database as the official compilation of administrative final orders issued on or after July 1, 2015, for each agency.

• Effective date: July 1, 2015.
