Creates section 448.115, Florida Statutes to protect licensed health care workers employed by hospitals, medical facilities, firms, partnerships, governmental entities, corporations, and associations.

Defines "licensed health care worker" as individuals licensed under chapter 464 or chapter 468 of Florida Statutes.

Prohibits employers from disciplining, threatening discipline, or taking retaliatory personnel action against licensed health care workers who refuse assignments outside their competency.

Protects workers who refuse assignments that would violate grounds for discipline under sections 456.072(1)(o), 464.018(1)(n), or 468.365(1)(m) or (1)(n).

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
