Exempts nonresidential farm buildings and agricultural pole barns from the Florida Fire Prevention Code, including national codes and Life Safety Code incorporated by reference.

Provides exemption for nonresidential farm buildings used for secondary assembly, business, or mercantile purposes if occupancy is limited to fewer than 100 persons per event and specific safety conditions are met, including at least two means of egress and prohibition on storing combustible or flammable liquids during events.

Requires the State Fire Marshal to convene a workgroup by September 1, 2015, and conduct a study on secondary uses of nonresidential farm buildings with 100 or more persons in attendance, with rulemaking to be initiated by December 1, 2015, if alternative life safety or fire prevention standards are determined necessary.

Authorizes local fire officials to consider NFPA 101A fire safety evaluation systems when identifying alternatives to firesafety code requirements for existing buildings.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
