Agency for Health Care Administration must publish Gold Seal designations in the Nursing Home Guide for facilities awarded excellence in long-term care under section 400.235

Each nursing home facility must post a clearly visible sign at every entrance indicating whether the facility holds a Gold Seal designation

Facilities placed on the Nursing Home Guide Watch List must provide written or electronic notice to the primary familial contact of each resident, including the deficiency description, corrective actions taken, and cumulative conditional license days and percentage in the prior 30 months

The Nursing Home Guide Watch List must identify facilities with conditional licensure status and those operating under bankruptcy protection, including facility name, address, ownership, county, license expiration date, bed count, and deficiency information

Act takes effect July 1, 2015
