Exempts patient personal identifying information from the Department of Health's electronic medical marijuana patient registry from public records requirements, including names, addresses, telephone numbers, and government-issued identification numbers.

Exempts physician identifying information and all details pertaining to physician orders for medical marijuana and dispensing thereof from public records requirements, including Drug Enforcement Administration numbers.

Grants access to confidential registry information to law enforcement investigating cannabis violations, retail facilities verifying prescription authenticity, treating physicians monitoring patient use, department employees maintaining the registry, and health care regulatory boards investigating physician violations.

Requires all persons receiving access to exempt information to maintain its confidential status; violation constitutes a third-degree felony punishable under Florida Statutes sections 775.082, 775.083, or 775.084.

Makes exemption subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals on October 2, 2020, unless the Legislature reenacts it.
