Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco may issue up to 15 temporary permits per calendar year to bona fide nonprofit civic organizations in Pinellas County municipalities for selling alcoholic beverages at special events.

Each temporary permit is valid for up to 3 days and requires the organization to present a valid special event permit issued by an incorporated municipality in Pinellas County.

These 15 permits are in addition to the 3 temporary permits per year already authorized for nonprofit civic organizations under Florida Statute 561.422.

Nonprofit civic organizations must comply with all other requirements of Florida Statute 561.422 when obtaining these temporary permits.

The act takes effect upon becoming law.
