Removes the exclusion for policies insuring more than four automobiles from the definition of "motor vehicle insurance" in section 627.041, F.S., bringing these policies under insurance rate regulations

Removes the same exclusion from the definition of "policy" in section 627.728, F.S., extending cancellation and nonrenewal protections to policyholders with more than four vehicles

Applies to private passenger and station wagon type vehicles, as well as four-wheeled vehicles with load capacity of 1,500 pounds or less not used for business (other than farming)

Effective date: July 1, 2015
