Amends s. 517.2016, F.S. to clarify that "examination techniques or procedures" means the methods, processes, and guidelines used to evaluate regulatory compliance and document violations under the Florida Securities and Investor Protection Act.

Designates information revealing Office of Financial Regulation examination techniques or procedures as confidential and exempt from public records requirements under s. 119.07(1) and the State Constitution.

Allows the Office of Financial Regulation to share examination techniques or procedures information with other governmental entities having oversight, regulatory, or law enforcement authority.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2015 for the public records exemption, making it permanent rather than subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Takes effect October 1, 2015.
