Honors Major General Emmett R. Titshaw, Jr., Adjutant General of Florida, for his 45-year military career ending March 29, 2015

Recognizes his service as Squadron Fighter Pilot in the 159th Fighter Interceptor Squadron and multiple command positions with the 125th Fighter Wing

Acknowledges his leadership roles including Director of Operations and Chief of Staff of the Florida Air National Guard Headquarters, Deputy Commander of the Florida National Guard Joint Force Headquarters, and Commander of Joint Task Force Florida for Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma

Notes his military achievements including more than 4,500 flying hours in F-102, F-106, F-16, and F-15 aircraft and numerous decorations including the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal and Legion of Merit

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Major General Titshaw as recognition of his sacrifices and congratulations on his retirement
