Honors Dr. Paulette Walker, National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and recognizes her contributions to Florida as an educator and community leader who retired from the University of South Florida in July 2011.

Recognizes March 22-24, 2015, as the 21st annual "Delta Days at the Florida Capitol," an event where Delta Sigma Theta members advocate for social justice and engage with state legislators on public policy issues.

Acknowledges Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., founded January 13, 1913, by 22 African-American women at Howard University, which operates through five program areas: economic development, educational development, physical and mental health, political awareness, and international awareness.

Notes the sorority has over 250,000 college-educated women members across more than 950 chapters worldwide, with 52 chapters located in Florida and the Bahamas.

Recognizes Senators Audrey Gibson and Arthenia L. Joyner and Representative Gwyndolen Clarke-Reed as esteemed members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
