Honors the service and sacrifice of Florida's Vietnam veterans on the 42nd anniversary of the end of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War.

Acknowledges that more than 58,000 U.S. Armed Forces members died and more than 300,000 were wounded during the conflict, which lasted from November 1, 1955 until the Case-Church amendment in 1973.

Recognizes that Vietnam veterans received unprecedented lack of formal recognition and positive celebrations upon returning home, and in some cases faced verbal and physical abuse.

Notes that more than 500,000 Vietnam War veterans are residents of Florida.

Calls upon state agencies, officials, counties, municipalities, community organizations, and residents to publicly acknowledge and demonstrate the state's appreciation for Vietnam veterans' honorable service and sacrifice.
