Honors Katherine M. Johnson, Ed.D., upon her retirement as President of Pasco-Hernando State College, recognizing her 43-year career as an educator and administrator.

Acknowledges her leadership achievements including designation as a "Great Place to Work," ranking among the 100 most affordable colleges, and nomination for the Aspen Award.

Recognizes her operational accomplishments: increased enrollment by 45 percent, increased graduation rate by 43 percent, opened two new campuses for five total campuses, raised operating budget by 102 percent, and increased Direct Support Organization net assets from $29 million to nearly $43 million.

Credits her with adding numerous programs including two baccalaureate degree programs and securing accreditation reaffirmations with no recommendations for improvement from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Acknowledges her national leadership roles including Chair of the Florida College System Council of Presidents and President of the American Association of Community Colleges President's Academy.
