Increases Florida's state minimum wage from $6.15 to $10.10 per hour for all hours worked in the state

Explicitly prohibits employers from paying employees at a rate less than the state minimum wage

Removes the requirement that only individuals entitled to receive the federal minimum wage under the Fair Labor Standards Act are eligible for the state minimum wage

Eliminates references to federal Fair Labor Standards Act provisions (sections 213 and 214) that were previously incorporated into state law

Effective date of January 1, 2016
