Amends the Florida Ban on Texting While Driving Law to allow law enforcement to stop vehicles and issue citations as a primary offense rather than only as a secondary action during other traffic stops

Doubles fines for texting while driving violations committed in legally posted school zones or designated school crossings

Doubles fines for second or subsequent violations within 5 years when committed in school zones or school crossings, regardless of where the prior conviction occurred
