Specifies that a property appraiser's operating budget becomes final and must be funded by the county commission once the Department of Revenue completes its final budget amendments by August 15.

County commissions remain obligated to fund the Department of Revenue-approved final budget even while an appeal to the Administration Commission is pending.

Property appraisers and county commissions may submit additional information or testimony to the Department of Revenue before August 15 regarding the tentative budget amendments.

The Administration Commission may still amend the budget upon appeal if it finds any aspect unreasonable based on the property appraiser's office workload.

Effective date: July 1, 2015.
