Extends existing public records exemptions for domestic violence center clients to also cover clients of domestic violence advocacy organizations and domestic violence referral services

Makes information about the location of domestic violence advocacy organizations and referral services confidential and exempt from public records requirements

Requires written consent from clients before their information can be disclosed, with exceptions for medical emergencies, court-ordered arrests, search warrants, fire emergencies, and safety/health maintenance

Subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act with automatic repeal on October 2, 2020, unless reenacted by the Legislature

Takes effect contingent upon passage of related legislation (SB ____) regarding domestic violence advocacy organizations and referral services in the same legislative session
