Requires each school district to provide CPR training based on instructional programs from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other nationally recognized organizations using current evidence-based guidelines.

Mandates that students study and practice CPR psychomotor skills at least once before graduating from high school, with an exception for students with disabilities as defined in section 1007.02.

Allows school districts to incorporate CPR training into the physical education curriculum or any other required curriculum they designate.

Encourages school districts to provide basic first aid training for all students beginning in grade 6 and every 2 years thereafter, with private and public partnerships for funding.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
