Reduces the retention period for criminal history records of serious/habitual juvenile offenders or those committed to juvenile correctional facilities from 5 years after age 21 to the minor's 18th birthday before automatic expungement

Reduces the retention period for criminal history records of other juvenile offenders from 5 years after age 19 to the minor's 18th birthday before automatic expungement

Records may still be retained beyond the 18th birthday if they meet certain existing statutory criteria outlined in section 943.0515(2)(a) or (2)(b)

Effective date of July 1, 2015
