Establishes a collaborative law process system for family law matters under chapters 61 and 742, Florida Statutes, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and related disputes.

Requires parties to voluntarily enter into a signed collaborative law participation agreement to commence the process; prohibits courts from ordering participation without party consent.

Defines the collaborative law process as a nonadversarial method where parties and their collaborative attorneys work to resolve disputes without tribunal intervention.

Creates confidentiality protections for communications made during the collaborative process, with exceptions for public records, threats of violence, criminal activity, and certain professional misconduct or abuse cases.

Becomes effective July 1, 2015, contingent upon the Florida Supreme Court adopting supporting rules of procedure and professional responsibility within 30 days of enactment.
