Require persons or officers submitting charter school applications to undergo background screening consistent with charter school personnel requirements, with approval prohibited until screening results are submitted to the sponsor.

Require charter school applicants to provide verified evidence of accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools before the first day of classes.

Change the deadline for charter schools to obtain a certificate of occupancy or temporary certificate of occupancy from 15 calendar days to 60 calendar days before the first day of school.

Require approval of charter applications to be based on documentation of adequate financial resources to support school operation, with documentation due no later than 60 calendar days before the first day of school.

Update cross-references in s. 1002.331 to reflect changes to s. 1002.33(6) regarding high-performing charter school applications; effective July 1, 2015.
