Schedules Mitragynine and 7-Hydroxymitragynine (kratom constituents) as Schedule I controlled substances, with an exception for any FDA-approved drug products containing these substances.

Extends the scheduling to include isomers, esters, ethers, salts, and derivatives of Mitragynine and 7-Hydroxymitragynine.

Creates a first-degree misdemeanor offense for possessing, purchasing, selling, delivering, manufacturing, or bringing these substances into Florida under s. 893.13.

Reenacts multiple Florida Statutes sections to incorporate references to the new Schedule I classification throughout drug-related criminal and regulatory provisions.

Takes effect October 1, 2015.
