Deletes prohibition on certain improvements to major structures and replaces it with a new restriction prohibiting coverage for major structures that are newly constructed or rebuilt/repaired/restored/remodeled to increase finished square footage by more than 25 percent if a permit is applied for on or after July 1, 2015.

Applies the new major structure restriction only to structures located seaward of the coastal construction control line or within the Coastal Barrier Resources System.

Maintains existing eligibility limits for personal lines residential structures based on dwelling replacement cost thresholds ($1 million effective January 1, 2014; $900,000 effective January 1, 2015; $800,000 effective January 1, 2016; $700,000 effective January 1, 2017).

Reenacts section 627.712(1) relating to residential windstorm coverage to incorporate amendments made to section 627.351.

Effective July 1, 2015.
