Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles shall develop a Florida Professional Sports Team license plate for Major League Soccer teams domiciled in Florida, in addition to existing plates for MLB, NBA, NFL, Arena Football, and NHL teams

Any Florida Professional Sports Team license plate created or established after January 1, 2017 must comply with section 320.08053 requirements and be specifically authorized by an act of the Legislature

Fifty-five percent of annual license plate fees deposited into the Professional Sports Development Trust Fund to attract and support major sports events, with Major League Soccer championship and all-star contests now included in the definition of "major sports events"

Remaining proceeds distributed to Enterprise Florida, Inc. to promote sports industry economic development, distribute licensing and royalty fees to participating professional sports leagues, and support sports-related education and community programs

Effective date July 1, 2015
