Creates section 843.23 of Florida Statutes to prohibit tampering with electronic monitoring devices used to track a person's location.

Makes it unlawful to knowingly remove, destroy, or circumvent an electronic monitoring device on persons in home arrest programs, on bond/pretrial release, subject to protective or stalking injunctions, or on county probation.

Prohibits requesting or soliciting another person to remove, destroy, or circumvent such a monitoring device.

Establishes violation as a third-degree felony punishable under existing Florida sentencing statutes.

Effective date: October 1, 2015.
