Requires the Department of Law Enforcement to establish and maintain a database on all incidents in Florida resulting in death involving use of deadly force by law enforcement officers and correctional officers

Database must include victim demographics (race/ethnicity, gender, age, religious affiliation), incident details (date, time, location, description of alleged criminal activity), type of force used, and sworn statements from the officer explaining the use of force and any non-lethal attempts prior to using deadly force

Department must create a reporting form and maintain collected data for at least 10 years after each incident

Law enforcement officers and correctional officers must complete the form after any deadly force event, with their employer required to submit it to the department within 10 business days

Effective July 1, 2015
