Establishes licensure and regulation of music therapists within Florida's Division of Medical Quality Assurance, effective January 1, 2017.

Requires music therapist applicants to hold a bachelor's degree in music therapy from an accredited program approved by the American Music Therapy Association, complete 1,200 hours of clinical training (including 900 hours internship), and hold current board certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists.

Creates a 5-member Music Therapy Advisory Committee appointed by the division director, consisting of three practicing music therapists, one licensed healthcare provider, and one layperson, with 4-year terms.

Requires music therapists to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with primary care providers and treatment teams, and complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years for license renewal.

Authorizes the division to investigate violations and impose disciplinary sanctions including suspension, revocation, probation, reprimand, and fines up to $1,000 for violations such as falsification of credentials, criminal convictions, or negligent practice.
