Authorizes students eligible for a certificate of completion to remain in high school for up to one additional year after their 12th grade year concludes.

Students may remain as full-time or part-time students to receive special instruction designed to remedy identified deficiencies and earn a standard diploma.

Alternatively, students may earn at least one industry certification identified pursuant to s. 1008.44 and complete at least one full semester of employment at minimum wage to earn an occupational certificate of completion.

Requires the State Board of Education to prescribe the form for the occupational certificate of completion.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
