Florida Legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention for proposing amendments to limit corporate personhood in campaign finance and declare that money does not constitute protected speech.

Convention delegates should comprise individuals currently elected to state and local office or those selected by election in congressional districts, with all current and former federal office holders prohibited from serving as delegates.

This application serves as a continuing request that remains in effect until two-thirds of state legislatures apply for such a convention and Congress convenes it.

The application is automatically revoked and nullified if used to call or support a convention for any purpose other than limiting corporate personhood in campaign finance and political speech.

Copies of the resolution must be sent to the President, Congress leadership, Florida's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.
