Amends section 517.2016, Florida Statutes to define "examination techniques or procedures" as the methods, processes, and guidelines used by the Office of Financial Regulation to evaluate regulatory compliance and document violations under the Florida Securities and Investor Protection Act.

Maintains the public records exemption that keeps information about examination techniques or procedures confidential and exempt from public disclosure requirements under Florida law.

Allows the Office of Financial Regulation to share confidential examination technique information with other governmental entities that have oversight, regulatory, or law enforcement authority.

Removes the sunset clause that would have automatically repealed the exemption on October 2, 2015, making the exemption permanent unless future legislation changes it.

Takes effect October 1, 2015.
